Traveling in Israel is no more dangerous and less safe than visiting any other country: with the exception of the border area along the Gaza strip and the one in the north-east near Syria, it’s possible to travel in complete autonomy and security in Israel. During our journey, we never felt in danger, on the contrary: the level of security is very high, thanks also to the massive presence of Israeli soldiers.
From the historic cities of Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Nazareth, considered the holiest places on the planet, we have tried to float in the Dead Sea, sitting comfortably in the water, and we head towards the far south of the country, and then cross the border in the direction of Jordan, which welcomed us with the majestic ruins of Petra and the almost martial landscapes of the Wadi Rum desert.
